China: King of pollution

The side effect of the last year’s rapid economic growth of China is the high pollution level of this country. Factories and cars are the two most important causes of pollution. Pollution there is touching almost every aspect of the environment over there: air pollution, water pollution and land pollution. It is easy to see how polluted the country can be on this picture. Just compare the two pictures taken on the same spot and you’ll see the difference.

The first one has been taken on a rainy day and the other on a sunny day. Can you see the difference?

According to CNN who ranked the 10 greenest businesses in the world, Honda, the multi-billion japanese company, is the first. It is the most fuel-efficient company in the U.S. While other car makers gripe, Honda on the other side hasn’t stop investingin economical et ecological technology to protect the environment and at the same time providing the comfort of a private transportation facility. The company has also think about his future and the future of his cars by promising to reduce by 5% the emission of CO2 for his cars and his factories. Clinton Foundation and Microsoft working to monitor CO2

“The Clinton Foundation and Microsoft Corp. today announced a long-term partnership to develop a suite of technology tools that will enable cities to accurately monitor, compare and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. The technology will include both software and services.” said the Clinton Foundation on their website.

The giant Redmond company Microsoft is to help the 40 biggest City of the world to monitor their release of CO2 in the environment. One of the members said that technology can bring awareness to environment problems.

Al Gore

If today we sees much people interested in fighting the global, thanks to Al Gore. He was the vice president before Dick Cheney and he is also the producer of the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”. The documentary pictured the actual situation of the earth and how it will soon be in some time. It won the 2007 Academy Award for Documentary Feature.

Live Earth Concert

I would like to talk about the Live Earth Concert. This was one of the thing that has marked me the most.
I never thought that one day, the environement issue would be so important that so many people, so marny artist will meet together to make a concert to make people aware of the dangers for the earth if we don’t care for it.

Eco-friendly

I was wandering on the net for my work and I came across several blog with theme “eco-friendly”. I realised that more and more people are concern about the environment. We can see it everywhere. People buy green product, there are concert with theme the environment.

I personnaly think that the global warming is the concern of everybody and I wish that more and more companies includes themselves in the fight against the global warming. This blog is a blog where eco-friendly people can meet and talk about how they can help in protecting the environment.

The motto is: Green is the colour, let’s heal the world now.
