The side effect of the last year’s rapid economic growth of China is the high pollution level of this country. Factories and cars are the two most important causes of pollution. Pollution there is touching
almost every aspect of the environment over there: air pollution, water pollution and land pollution. It is easy to see how polluted the country can be on this picture. Just compare the two pictures taken on the same spot and you’ll see the difference.
The first one has been taken on a rainy day and the other on a sunny day. Can you see the difference?
Here are two links that you should check. The first outline the pollution level in China (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environment_of_China) and the second one outline the fact that the polluting agent of China has been found in the U.S (www.cbsnews.com/stories/2000/03/31/archive/main178697.shtml).
